Founded in 1932, Mitsubishi Fuso (MF) was spun off from the parent company Mitsubishi Motors in January, 2003.
Development of semitrailers and full-trailers became imperative in order to respond to increasing demand by trucking companies for efficient, large-volume, high-speed transport.
